
The West Central Community Development Group is actively seeking a passionate and community-driven individual to assume the role of Community Liaison in the vibrant West Central Corridor of ABQ. As a key player in the revitalization efforts, the Community Liaison will engage with local businesses, city and county officials, and neighborhood associations to foster positive transformation.
Responsibilities include conducting surveys with area businesses, capturing visual records through photography, and creating compelling social media content to enhance community visibility. The position involves coordinating and organizing community meetings with elected officials and departments, as well as facilitating educational forums to promote collaboration and understanding. Additionally, the Community Liaison will work closely with neighborhood associations and coalitions, planning and hosting monthly meetings involving city, state, and county representatives.
Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in community development, public relations, or a related field, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in community engagement, event organization, and proficiency in social media platforms is essential.
